Neville surveyed the mound of wrapped presents. Satisfied with a job well done, he began stacking them under the tree until he found an untagged gift.

Neville shook the present, trying to recall just exactly what it was without unwrapping it.

Bill found Neville amidst the gifts, bows, ribbons, paper and tape stuck haphazardly in his hair. "What happened?"

Neville sighed, holding up the lone gift. "This one doesn't have a tag."

"How did that happen?"

"I don't know. Everything else has a tag."

"Unwrap it."

"And ruin the paper? No! Someone will just have to be surprised on Christmas."

Severus watched as Remus, tiny pants and pyjamas in hand, chased Teddy, the naked toddler.

"Come here, young man!"

Teddy ran from the bathroom, his hair changing rapidly from one colour to the next indicating his amusement with this newest game before bedtime.

Severus smirked as the boy raced down the hall and into their bedroom. "Sleep with Sev'rus!"

"No, Teddy, you've your own bed to sleep in."

"Want Sev'rus!"

"That makes two of us," Remus grumbled softly as Teddy let loose a wail. "Neither one of us are going to get what we want."

Severus groaned.
