Draco eyed the ramshackle house with disdain, arching a brow as a garden gnome popped its head out of an old boot and gave him a double fingered salute. The gnome dropped back into the shoe, shoving the tongue up to shut out the intruders to his home.

Draco looked up at Charlie. "Such a lovely welcome."

Charlie chuckled, placing his hand on Draco's back. "Don't worry; I'm certain the others will be more polite… maybe."

Draco snorted as Charlie pushed open the door; both men were quickly enveloped by Molly and ushered to the warmth of the Burrow's hearth.

Perfect Imperfections

Charlie had never taken being part of something for granted, because as a child, he'd never known anything was lacking. Material desires aside, he'd not wanted for anything.

It wasn't until he'd been saddled with Draco Malfoy that he'd wondered if he were missing something important. Malfoy had made it seem so for a time. The man's snide comments had cut to the quick.

Once he got Charlie alone, however, Draco's mouth made up for the slights. His hands and lips traced Charlie's body, grazing his freckles lovingly, and telling him just how much each perfect little imperfection was desired.
