Bent But Not Broken

As promised, I am almost caught up with my reading and viewing on the snarry_games. I supposed being under the weather does have its perks. The halfway point has come and you can find the weekly recap here.

All the art from both teams has been outstanding, however, these are my favorite from Snitch. Keyword here being mine. Be advised there may be adult content with these links, view at your own discretion.

I'll catch up on both Snitch's fics and Cauldron's recs later, but I wanted to get these in first. Thanks to each and everyone of these creators for their time, talent, and effort it took to create these masterpieces to share.

Cauldron's latest offering is from venturous. An absolutely gorgeous painting that I had the pleasure of watching come to life from idea to sketch to finish. Simply amazing to see and I had thought writing was hard work.

eeyore9990! That right there says it all. If you have never read one of Eey's fics then you are missing out. Again, no spoilers, but Eey has a turn of phrase that takes you on a roller coaster ride and has you laughing throughout the fic. Once it's over, you are running back around to get on again. A little bit behind in my recs and team pimps so I have another twofer post for you today. First of the art!

Stark, twisted, and completely captivating is the entry from ships_harry. It's a crossover piece with the comic Grendel. Even though I have never seen this comic before, ships_harry's art and the chosen typeset used to highlight the story, made me want to go find it. I don't know how else to describe it, except you just have to see it to understand it. So, go, look and comment!

Across the comics, it's never entirely clear whether Grendel is a concept, a person, some sort of cross-cultural meme, or the devil himself. I've chosen with this set of strips to make a nod to the story of Hunter Rose and Stacy Palumbo, though I've twisted it rather. The colouring style is because the story is from the Black, White and Red series. (More notes about fusion under the cut)
