Neville almost stuttered over the words. "Would you bond with me?"
Bill stared at the box in Neville's hand, a terrifying mix of joy, horror, revulsion and fear running through him. The two sterling silver bands lay on a soft, velvet lining, the Longbottom crest engraved upon the newly shined jewellery. He swallowed hard, not looking up to meet Neville's eyes as his own jeweller's box itched and burned a hole in his trouser pocket.
"They were Gran's first then passed down to my Dad, but I suppose you could guess that," Neville said quietly. "I don't know if the silver would…" he trailed off and looked away. "It's all right if you don't want to wear them. I just thought…"
Bill wrapped his fingers around one band and slid it over his wrist. Softly drawing in a breath, he looked up at Neville and smiled. "Only one way to find out."
Neville stared at Bill, letting out a sigh of relief as the silver expanded to fit his arm. He grinned then slid his own band on.
Bill smiled and pressed his mouth to Neville's, silently vowing to save the gold rings in his pocket for their Fiftieth anniversary.

Come To My Rescue
Neville's eyes glazed over as Trelawney droned on, her voice almost as soft and hypnotic as it had been when he was still a student. Why, oh why, was the Defense against the Dark Arts seat next to Divination at the Head Table? Casting a glance down the table, Neville silently pleaded with Bill to help him.
Sprout nudged Bill and leaned closer. "It looks as if someone is trying to catch your eye, Professor," she murmured, grinning at him.
Bill turned, sized up the situation and smiled at Neville, waving a few fingers at him. "I suppose I should help him escape," he muttered before reaching out for his tea cup.
Sprout giggled. "That would be very gentlemanly of you."
Bill chuckled as he stood, making his way down to Neville's chair. Clearing his throat as Trelawney paused to take a breath, he knelt and interrupted. "Pardon me, Professor. Might I borrow Professor Longbottom for a moment?"
"Oh, yes, yes, of course! I knew you were coming, Professor…"
Bill stood, pulled out Neville's chair and they made their escape before Trelawney could launch into another spiel.
Neville leaned close to Bill as they exited the Great Hall. "My hero."

Reminiscing
Looking back, Neville would have sworn that he'd never be in this place. If someone had asked him where he would be when he was seventy, he couldn't have even guessed the possibilities. He smiled as he recalled the years with fondness. Even when he'd been alone, it hadn't been too awful, because while he may have been by himself months at a time, he hadn't been lonely.
A still strong hand gripped his shoulder and Neville looked up, grinning at the white streaks threaded in Bill's auburn hair. He still kept it pulled back, tied with a leather thong, and Neville thought it was because Molly used to tease Bill so much about his hair. But he'd never say anything like that to Bill, because he loved it as well.
Neville remembered the little details as if it were only yesterday, as he stood and took Bill's hand.
They walked through the Burrow's back lawn together, again sharing this day with their friends and family. Bill and Neville renewed their vows together in this place of family, and while some treasured members had gone on before them, they too would be remembered just as if it were only yesterday.

The Cost Of Hatred
Neville narrowed his eyes, his heart skipped a beat and filled with a horrible hatred unlike anything he'd ever felt before. He peered through the partition, hands clenched at his side as he watched the door open in the other room.
The man that walked through the door was just a shadow of his former self; a wraith of the nightmare that haunted Neville's dreams, but his eyes still showed the malevolence that had brought them both to this place.
Lestrange looked up and met Neville's gaze, smirking, and Neville never flinched as he nodded at Lestrange. Molly had struck the killing blow on Bellatrix, as she had every right; her brothers needed avenging. But Neville had waited, and as his first assignment as an Auror under the new Ministry, brought in Rabastan. By himself, legally, without one stray spell fired from his wand.
Bill swallowed as he watched the two men, one deeply loved and the other completely reviled. Aching to comfort Neville, he stood sentry just behind him, waiting with warmed cocoa and welcoming arms. He'd wait and watch as Lestrange's loathing faded while the Dementor took his soul then ease Neville's with gentle kisses and loving words.

Neville lay on the bed with his eyes closed; hands folded behind his head and tried to remain perfectly still. It wasn't an easy thing to do, considering he was on his back and the fan above him was blowing cool air down over his wet, naked body.
The hairs on his chest and stomach danced as they were moved by the slight breeze, and he resisted the urge to run his hand down and over the middles of his body. "Bill?"
"Yes?"
"How much longer?"
"Let's see…"
Neville felt the bed dip and the reassuring weight of Bill's hand settled on his abdomen, his long fingers gently playing over his skin and tickling at his navel.
Neville drew in a deep breath, trying not to laugh, or squirm, or any of those other humiliating things that happened when one was being tortured. It didn't last, and his laughter broke free as he curled up around Bill's hand. "Oh, Gods, stop! I… I can't do it!"
"Shame, shame, you didn't even make it half the time as you did before," Bill growled and slid his hand lower, cupping Neville's prick and sac. "Let me show you all about stamina, shall I?"

Cultivating Interest
The dirt was black, rich, and well fertilized when Neville sank his hands into the soft, tilled ground. The soil crumbled between his fingers, caking up under his nails as he dug out furrow after furrow in the rows of their garden. He built up a mound of earth, hollowing out the middle then reached out for the tiny seedling.
Ever so carefully, Neville placed the tiny plant into the hole, gently packing the fertile ground around it and making certain it was stable. He moved down the row a few feet then began the process over again.
The afternoon sun was high overhead when Bill arrived home.
"Neville! I've brought lunch!" He called out, unsurprised to find Neville still in the garden. Bill eyed Neville as he stood and waved at him.
Streaks of black dirt raced across Neville's tanned skin where he'd wiped away sweat. Here and there little bits of plant leaves added decoration in addition to the treasure trail that vanish down into his trousers.
"Just let me wash up, okay?"
Bill licked his lips and decided the takeaway he'd brought home for lunch could wait while he made certain that Neville was cleaned up properly.

Fashionably Late
Neville took a deep breath, trying to slow his racing heart. The air whistled between his teeth as he let it go, and he closed his eyes, inhaling another calming gulp of air.
He felt silly, being nervous like this and his insides were tied in knots as he waited for Bill. Bill would make it on time. His Weasley had never been late for anything, and he wouldn't miss today either. All Neville had to do was believe in Bill, and have a little patience.
Neville felt a soft and warm mouth press gently against his forehead. Strong fingers combed through his hair and cupped the back of his neck, tilting his face back to plant another kiss on his mouth. Opening his eyes, he gave a great sigh of relief as he looked up at Bill.
"It's about time," Neville scolded and grinned. "I was beginning to think you weren't coming."
"It's called fashionably late," Bill smiled, holding his arm out to Neville. "Shall we?"
Neville chuckled, and hooked his elbow through Bill's. Together, they took a leap of faith and stepped out into the back lawn of the Burrow to the official waiting to hear their vows.

A Beautiful Desecration
It was the crime of the century. Velvety red petals littered every surface imaginable in the bedroom and Neville stared at them in horrified fascination as the scent of his prized Harkness roses, robbed from his own greenhouse filled the bedroom. He narrowed his eyes, glaring at Bill, sentencing Bill with the sight of his desecrated flowers and the heady scents surrounding them.
Bill's arms wrapped around Neville, and Neville shook his head, trying to escape Bill's embrace. Tiny, sharp nips bit into his neck and Neville closed his eyes.
Bill walked Neville closer to the bed, smoothly divesting Neville of his clothing and laid him back on the flower strewn blankets. Covering Neville with his body, Bill took the one remaining, perfectly intact bud and glided it over Neville's naked body, pleading his case.
Neville writhed under Bill's attentions, his anger melting away with each firm caress of Bill's hands on his skin. He arched into every touch, slowly granting Bill absolution for his crime of floral homicide.
As Bill's hand closed around his prick and stroked Neville to completion, Neville decided that perhaps he'd been a little hasty in deciding that cutting his flowers was an unforgivable sin.

Neville stared down at the little phial in disbelief. Magic was a strange and wonderful thing, and couldn't always be explained away by logic. He shook his head, closing his eyes for a moment then looked again. The colour of the liquid remained the same. He sat on the toilet, wondering what to tell Bill.
"Neville… are you all right? Is something wrong?" Bill inquired as he knocked on the door.
"Yes… no… well, maybe. Perhaps," Neville answered then sighed as he ran a hand over his face.
Bill cleared his throat. "Are you positive?"
Neville chuckled, "Oh, most definitely."

Neville lay on his back, staring up at the clear blue sky. Not one cloud marred the serene setting and it reminded him of Bill's eyes.
He studied Bill for a moment and decided that he'd been wrong. The colour wasn't even close. There was more emotion, more life, and just more Bill in those deep blue eyes. Bill smiled and leaned down to kiss Neville as if he'd known what was going on Neville's mind.
They didn't need pretty words to communicate, Neville decided. He laid back and closed his eyes, resting contentedly with his head on Bill's lap.

Neville picked up his cards; eyeing the suites he'd been dealt. After arranging them just so, he opened the round by bidding two markers. He smiled at Bill. "Ante up."
Bill studied his cards, tossed in his two chips then added three more. He looked at Neville. "You do realize that there is a lot at stake here, correct?"
Neville nodded. "Call."
Bill laid down four tens. "Beat that."
Neville laid down his cards, displaying a royal flush. Grinning at Bill, he scooped up the markers, counted them out and replied. "Seven articles. I believe that leaves you naked. Strip."

Neville's cheeks flushed with colour as he read Bill's daily letter. Just a few more days and Bill would return from his month long job.
Neville followed the naughty lines with his eyes, his mouth moving as he read. He shuddered out a breath, closing his eyes as his tongue slipped from his mouth to glide along his lips. He reached down, rubbing himself through his trousers.
"I'm home," Bill murmured, Apparating into the house behind Neville.
Neville gasped, opening his eyes to find Bill leaning over him.
"Are you ready for me?" Bill inquired, pressing his mouth to Neville's.

All In A Day's Work
Neville looked around the large room, arching a brow. Maps, scrolls, and pieces of parchment littered the tables and floor. Cups half full of tea, coffee, and soda were stacked haphazardly on top of the desks and the overfull dust bin.
On the walls, obviously held up with Sticking Charms, were several photos of what appeared to be foreign witches in nothing but scraps of cloth in strategic places. Someone had charmed a Muggle telly and two wizards were engaged in a battle to the death video game.
Neville glanced up at Bill. "Nice to know you enjoy your work."

Neville and Bill watched Harry and Ginny's two boys run around the back lawn of the Burrow, chasing after Ron and Hermione's two children. George and Angelina's daughter held Fred and Katie's youngest son, while Molly and Arthur looked over everyone proudly.
"I think it's time we had one of our own," Neville murmured, as Harry separated two children that had decided to spat.
Bill started. "Are you mad?"
"Do you not want children?"
"It's not that, but why add to the chaos?" Bill inquired
"I always wanted a large family."

The fringed throw Molly knitted for their first anniversary went sailing through the air followed by the pillows from the sofa. Trevor the Fourth watched from his bowl on the mantle, softly croaking his dismay when one of Bill's boots came directly toward him.
The shattering of glass stopped the whirling dervish of activity, and Neville poked his head up over the back of the sofa, groaning as he looked around. "Looks like a war zone in here."
Bill summoned Trevor, dropping him in Neville's glass of water, before he pulled Neville to the floor again. "Commencing peace talks immediately."

Neville walked into Gringotts, and then up to the second floor, his arms wrapped around the huge planter. Setting the pot down on the ground, he straightened, then began untying the twine around the plant.
The fronds snapped outward, knocking Neville off his feet and over the railing. An embarrassing shriek erupted from his lips as he came to an abrupt stop with a little help from a spell.
Neville looked up into the scarred face of Bill Weasley.
"Handsome wizards falling from heaven? Must be my lucky day." Bill chuckled.

The fronds of a palm tree provided shady cover from the overhead lamps, and the sprinklers rained down a gentle mist that did nothing to cool their desires. The glass was cold against Neville's skin despite the relative humidity and heat inside of the greenhouse. Sweat beaded on his skin and ran in rivulets down his body, only to be licked away by Bill's hot tongue.
Neville arched toward Bill, his arms and legs wrapped around Bill's body. He pressed his mouth to Bill's, moaning deep and low as they made slow, sweet love on one of his work tables.

Neville stared at Bill, and Bill stared right back at Neville. Neither one said a word but volumes were spoken as they looked into one another's eyes. They conversed with actions, fingers on skin, caressing tiny and perfect imperfections that both knew oh so well.
They breathed out silent "I love yous" with each kiss, each press of lips taking the time to slowly map out beloved territory.
The sighs and pants echoed in the room, and still, no words passed from their mouths. No talking was ever necessary between Bill and Neville because they just knew what was needed.

Prompt: # 08: Unforgivable
Word Count:200
Summary: Bill commits an unforgivable act.
Warnings: Graphic flower murder, romance, fluff

Bill grinned. "We'll have fun adding to the numbers."

Neville blushed as Bill set him on his feet.

Summary: Interesting things happen in Neville's greenhouse.

Prompt Set: 50.4
Prompt: #20: Talk
Word Count: 100
Summary: Neville and Bill never talk
Warnings: Innuendo
Notes: Part of my
Neville stared at Bill, and Bill stared right back at Neville.
That said...
